Abstract
In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the signi3icance of designing healthcare environments that extend beyond functionality. These healing hospital environments are designed to promote patient satisfaction and well-being. However, despite increased awareness of their bene3its, the global adoption of healing-centred hospital designs remains limited. While the healthcare system has long focused on treating physical ailments, there is a growing recognition that to promote overall wellness, it must shift toward a more comprehensive approach to healing, addressing not only the body but also the emotional and psychological needs of patients. This paper aims to investigate the impact of Therapeutic design in hospitals, which focuses on creating an environment that promotes patient healing and well-being. This research adapts an architectural interior, and environmental elements such as natural light, noise control, 3lexible and adaptable spaces, Healing colours and aesthetics and access to nature and green spaces to enhance the overall patient healthcare experience and reduce stress. The objective is to provide insights into how evidence-based and Therapeutic design approaches can enhance patient satisfaction and improve the overall healthcare experience. This research will adopt a combined quantitative and qualitative approach to investigate how therapeutic design in healthcare facilities affects patient satisfaction and wellness. The study will utilise questionnaires, behaviour map observation, and post-occupancy evaluations to gather both numerical data and in-depth insights.
