Abstract
Recently, technology and the social distancing during Covid-19 pandemic that have affected all member of society, babies, kids, youth, families and academic institutes all around the world. In order to keep the education system running with its capacity, academic institutions have had to quickly solution to adapt to the situation and overcome the delay in many seniors and the system can be a delay. This has caused an unprecedented solution that put online learning on top of the solution to this situation. Many digital solution companies, including different providers of commercial digital learning platforms, have to provide quick steps to support and give ‘solutions’ for many academic institutes, sometimes for free during the pandemic time. The Covid-19 pandemic has created a new market for eLearning and many providers for this solution, on one side, on the other side a new demand from the academic institutes start to arise to Education Technology (EdTech). This paper will examine the importance of EdTech from the perspective of different educators in academic institutes in different countries. A critical discussion will explain how the current reflect cadmic institutes choice of e-learning can reinforce a capitalist instrumental view of education and promote holistic human. This paper impulses educational leaders and educators have to think sensibly about the decisions they are currently making towered changing the education direction and future of education
