Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between the students’ enrollment in technical vocational education and economic growth in seven selected MENA countries over the period 2003-2013.The panel analysis uses fixed effect and random effect models. The results of this study revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the students’ enrollment in vocational education in secondary and upper secondary levels and economic growth, measured by per capita growth rate. Data analysis also revealed structural problems in this sector of education in funding, governance and linkage to labour market.
