The exploration the Moon has involved a highly successful interdisciplinary approach solving a number of scientific problems. has required the interactions f astronomers classify surface features; cartographers 1os A. map interesting areas; geologists S unravel the history th S her lunar crust; geochemists .O decipher its chemical makeup; geophysicists D establisk its structure; physicists work with engineers on optimizing the delivery to and from the MOOn of exploration tools. Although, study the environment; and mathemafieians fo the harvest f unar science has not answered all the questions posed, t has already given us a much ha understanding of the Moon and its history.
