Abstract
Apollo 16 and Apolto 17 photographs of the far side of the moon peye diameter centered ION, tI2°E double-ringed bIsin Soo kilometers s probably Pre-Nectarian int age and The stnicture very and subdued; it . appears hve been filled and modified younger events. The heights of the Nesin's rings are based on laser altimeter data from Apollo missions S through 17, these data suoeest a third outer ring, approximately 1000 kilometers in diameter, Laser measurements also indicate that the flled basin separates the relatively IoN ternain on the eastern limb of the moon from the higher, more ruesed highlands to the east.
